Job summary

Monarch Healthcare Management in Minnesota seeks a part-time Culinary Service Cook to prepare and serve meals for residents, guests, and employees, coordinating with Culinary Services Director and interdisciplinary team to ensure diet orders are followed and dignity is preserved.

The role focuses on promoting food service standards through cost, quality, and quantity controls, providing meals that meet residents' desires with as much choice as possible while upholding personal dignity.

Qualifications

• Must have desire and commitment to work with geriatric residents.
• Must qualify for employment after criminal background study per guidelines of the Minnesota Department of Human Services.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, serve, and be responsible for the preparation of foods for residents, guests, and employees.
• Coordinate with the Culinary Services Director and interdisciplinary team to meet therapeutic diet orders.
• Promote food service standards through cost, quality and quantity controls.
