Monarch Healthcare Management is seeking a Culinary Service Cook to prepare and serve meals for residents, guests, and staff in our Minnesota facilities. You will work under the Culinary Services Director and coordinate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure meals meet dietary needs and resident preferences.

The role emphasizes cost, quality, and quantity controls, with an emphasis on dignity and choice. On-call availability and a commitment to caring for geriatric residents are important.

Qualifications

• On-Call
• Must have a desire and commitment to work with geriatric residents and understand their special needs.
• Must qualify for employment, after criminal background study, per guidelines of the Minnesota Department of Human Services.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, serve, and/or be responsible for the preparation of foods for residents, guests, and employees.
• Promote food service standard through cost, quality and quantity controls.
• Provide meal service that meets the desires of the resident, by allowing as much choice as possible and giving foodservice that preserves the element of personal dignity.
