Job summary

Monarch Healthcare Management is seeking a Culinary Service Cook to prepare and serve meals for residents, guests, and staff in our Minnesota facilities. Working under the Culinary Services Director and with the interdisciplinary team, you will help ensure therapeutic diets are prepared accurately and meals preserve residents' dignity.

You will collaborate with a team to maintain food service standards, manage costs, and provide a satisfying dining experience.

Qualifications

• On-Call availability
• Must have a desire and commitment to work with geriatric residents and understand their special needs.
• Must qualify for employment, after criminal background study, per guidelines of the Minnesota Department of Human Services.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, serve, and be responsible for the preparation of foods for residents, guests, and employees.
• Assist in promoting food service standards through cost, quality, and quantity controls.
• Provide meal service that respects residents' dignity and allows as much dietary choice as possible.
