South Ogden Post-Acute Rehab in South Ogden, UT is seeking a full-time Activities Specialist to support the Activities Supervisor in delivering programs that enhance residents’ physical, mental, and psychosocial wellbeing.

The role includes executing individual and group activities, adapting tasks to residents’ abilities, and maintaining a clean activity space. Requires a High School Diploma and TRT/CTRS certification, plus reliable transportation and a passion for geriatric care.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• TRT or CTRS Certification required.
• Reliable transportation to and from work.
• Some prior activities experience preferred.
• Love for the geriatric population.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Activities Supervisor with executing activity plans that benefit residents’ wellbeing.
• Carry out individual and group activities matching residents’ functional levels and interests.
• Adapt activities to cognitive and physical abilities using prompts, setup assistance, and demonstrations.
• Maintain and clean activity equipment and space.
