South Ogden Post-Acute Rehab in South Ogden, UT is actively seeking a full-time Activities Specialist to support residents’ physical, mental, and psychosocial wellbeing through engaging activities. The role works under the Activities Director to deliver individualized and group activities tailored to each resident’s needs.

Qualifications include a High School Diploma and TRT or CTRS Certification, plus reliable transportation and a passion for geriatric care.

• Reliable transportation to/from work.
• Some prior activities experience preferred.
• Love for the geriatric population!

Responsibilities

• Assist the Activities Supervisor in executing activity plans that benefit residents' wellbeing.
• Carry out individual and group activities aligned to residents' functional levels.
• Adapt activities to cognitive and physical abilities using prompts, setup assistance and demonstrations.
• Maintain/clean activity equipment and supplies; keep the activity space clean and orderly.
