British Swim School of Silver Spring-Hyattsville is seeking a Part-time Aquatics Manager to lead daily operations of our aquatics program and customer service activities at our Hyattsville location.

You will ensure curriculum delivery to brand and safety standards, mentor instructors, manage customer interactions, and teach lessons. This role requires a minimum of 20 hours per week and offers growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• 1+ years of leadership or supervisory experience in aquatics, childcare, hospitality, fitness, or related field (preferred).
• CPR/Lifeguard certifications (may be obtained during training) (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Recruit, hire, onboard, train, and mentor swim instructors.
• Schedule pool lessons and staff shifts efficiently.

The Position

The Aquatics Manager leads the daily operations of our aquatics program and customer service activities. You’ll ensure the British Swim School curriculum is delivered to brand and safety standards, manage and mentor instructors, handle customer interactions, and teach lessons.

This part-time role requires a minimum of 20 hours per week and is pivotal to our early success, helping us deliver a world-class experience for our swimmers and families.
