Job summary

British Swim School is seeking an Aquatics Manager for our Hyattsville location. This part-time role (minimum 20 hours per week) leads daily operations of the aquatics program, delivers the curriculum to safety standards, mentors instructors, handles guest interactions, and teaches lessons.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Excellent communication, leadership and organizational skills.
• 1+ years leadership experience in aquatics, childcare, hospitality, fitness or related field preferred.
• CPR/Lifeguard certifications may be obtained during training.

The Position

The Aquatics Manager leads the daily operations of our aquatics program and customer service activities. You’ll ensure the British Swim School curriculum is delivered to brand and safety standards, manage and mentor instructors, handle customer interactions, and teach lessons.

This part-time role requires a minimum of 20 hours per week and is pivotal to our early success, helping us deliver a world-class experience for our swimmers and families.

Required Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ years of leadership or supervisory experience in aquatics, childcare, hospitality, fitness, or related field, specialized swim instruction credentials plus
• CPR/Lifeguard certifications (may be obtained during training)
