Job summary

Baker Hughes Company is seeking a Geothermal Reservoir Engineer to model and optimize geothermal resources, integrating subsurface data to maximize long-term energy recovery and project value. The role emphasizes leading multi-disciplinary studies, managing budgets, and delivering high-quality results.

You will build 3D reservoir models, run simulations, and collaborate with geoscientists and drilling teams to refine development plans and improve field economics.

Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in Petroleum Engineering, Reservoir Engineering, Geoscience, or related discipline.
• 3–5 years' geothermal reservoir modeling experience.
• Proficiency in fluid flow in porous media, heat transfer, and uncertainty quantification.
• Experience with residential reservoir simulation tools CMG, Eclipse, Petrel, or tNavigator.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate geothermal resources and develop 3D static/dynamic reservoir models.
• Perform reservoir simulations to optimize production and injection strategies.
• Lead multi-disciplinary geothermal projects within budget and schedule.
• Collaborate with geoscientists, drilling, and surface facilities to optimize field development.
