Job summary

Fervo Energy is seeking a Maintenance Planner in Houston to own planning and scheduling for our geothermal fleet. The role reports to the Director of Maintenance & Reliability and focuses on turning maintenance needs into fully planned, resourced, and scheduled work orders.

The position requires field exposure, CMMS proficiency, and the ability to balance backlogs with weekly scheduling across multiple sites. Hybrid office schedule is expected.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of maintenance planning and scheduling experience in industrial power/generator environments.
• Experience using a CMMS (MaintainX, Maximo, SAP or similar) for work orders and backlog reporting.
• Ability to schedule multi-discipline maintenance across multiple sites.

Responsibilities

• Plan and convert Work Requests into fully planned work orders with scope, parts, and hours.
• Create weekly schedules; coordinate with site supervisors and craft availability.
• Maintain CMMS data, backlog, and KPI reporting; ensure prioritization and readiness.
