Job summary

Fervo Energy is seeking a Maintenance Planner in Houston to own work order planning and scheduling for our geothermal fleet. You will translate maintenance needs into fully planned, resourced, and scheduled work orders, interfacing with Operations, Maintenance, and Reliability teams.

You will spend time in the field with site teams to develop labor estimates, parts requirements, and outage windows, and you will maintain the CMMS as the system of record.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of maintenance planning and scheduling in an industrial environment.
• Experience with CMMS for work order planning, templates, backlog and KPI reporting.
• Ability to schedule multi-site maintenance and coordinate parts/materials.
• Strong written communication and ability to create reusable job plans.

Responsibilities

• Convert work requests into fully planned work orders with scope, parts, labor hours, and discipline requirements.
• Build and maintain a weekly fleet schedule and prioritize readiness across sites.
• Own CMMS as the system of record for planning data and backlog reporting.
• Coordinate with supply chain to flag parts availability and lead times.
• Escalate resource conflicts or schedule risks to leadership.
