Job summary

BP plc seeks a Planner/Scheduler to manage maintenance, I&E, and construction planning across Denver operations. You will develop detailed work packages, coordinate resources, and maintain integrated schedules to minimize downtime and safely meet production targets.

The role requires strong field engagement, execution of turnaround planning, and hands-on use of SAP for work management and backlog control. A hybrid office/remote schedule and a competitive compensation package are provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience planning or scheduling maintenance, construction, turnaround, or operations in asset-intensive environments.
• Proficiency using SAP as a work management system to create/maintain work orders and manage backlog.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed work packages defining scope, labor, materials, tools, permits, isolations, and safety requirements.
• Build and maintain weekly/monthly schedules for Maintenance, I&E, construction, shutdowns, and commissioning.
• Manage work-order backlog with prioritization, aging, and escalation as needed.
• Track schedule compliance, planning accuracy, and backlog health; report findings and drive improvements.
