Zusammenfassung

Alliance of Hazardous Materials Professionals is seeking a Geotechnical Risk Manager to provide technical leadership for geotechnical scopes within Civil West preconstruction. You will evaluate subsurface risks and translate geotechnical information into practical estimating, planning, constructability, and risk-mitigation strategies.

This direct-hire role offers a salary range of $150,000 to $180,000, with ownership opportunities and a focus on collaboration across design and construction teams

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Geotechnical Engineering or related discipline.
• 10-15 years in heavy civil construction or geotechnical engineering roles.
• Experience with preconstruction, estimating, constructability, and risk management.
• Understand subsurface variability and its impact on productivity, cost, and schedule.
• PE license preferred.

Aufgaben

• Lead review and interpretation of geotechnical, geologic, and subsurface information.
• Identify gaps in reports and coordinate clarifications or risk allowances.
• Develop geotechnical narratives, estimating approaches, and construction means/methods.
• Establish production rates, crew compositions, equipment assumptions, and sequencing plans.
• Identify and quantify geotechnical risks affecting cost, schedule, safety, and productivity.
• Create geotechnical risk registers and mitigation plans.
• Collaborate with designers, engineers, owners, and subcontractors to validate constructability.
