The candidate brings a PE license, a master's in geotechnical engineering, and 5+ years of relevant experience, with strong command of geotechnical modeling tools and client communication.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Geotechnical Engineering (required).
• Professional Engineer (PE) license (required).
• 5+ years of geotechnical experience supporting transportation projects (required).
• Experience with geotechnical modeling using FEA software (required).
• Proficiency with GeoStudio, LPILE, GROUP, SHAFT, SLIDE, Settle3D, MSEW (required).
• Ability to read and interpret engineering plans and documents (required).
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills (required).
• Ability to travel ~15% and work overtime as needed (required).
• Valid driver's license and reliable driving record (required).

Responsabilités

• Perform geotechnical engineering evaluations using standard principles and design criteria.
• Prepare preliminary geotechnical reports, recommendations, and documentation.
• Develop project scopes, budgets, schedules, and technical work plans.
• Prepare work assignments, task orders, and related deliverables.
• Attend client meetings and coordinate with stakeholders on technical requirements.
• Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and internal teams.
• Manage multiple assignments while meeting deadlines and quality standards.
• Conduct site visits, field observations, and inspections as required.
• Maintain compliance with safety policies and quality standards.
• Provide guidance and leadership to on-site team members.
