Job summary

Jobot in Minnesota is seeking a Project Engineer to lead geotechnical, inspection, and materials testing projects. You will manage client relationships, contribute to proposals, and oversee budgets and schedules.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in geotechnical, civil, or related engineering is required.
• Master's degree in geotechnical, civil, or related engineering is optional.
• Three or more years of geotechnical engineering and construction materials testing project management experience.
• Professional Engineer registration/licensure in MN, or ability to attain within 6 to 12 months.
• Ability to lift up to 50 to 75 pounds on a periodic basis.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain internal and external client relationships, including project and non-project related face-to-face meetings.
• Provide leadership of a technical or project related team.
• Prepare proposals for moderate to complex projects.
• Develop and execute full scopes, and prepare engineering reports giving professional opinions and practical geotechnical solutions.
• Manage projects across scope, schedule and budget.
• Perform engineering analysis using company and industry methodologies and standards.
• Mentor junior level engineering staff.
• Understand and work in compliance with corporate health and safety policies.
