Job summary

Braun Intertec Corporation in St. Cloud, MN is seeking an experienced Staff Engineer to lead geotechnical, inspection, and construction materials testing projects. You will mentor junior staff, build client relationships, and oversee projects from concept through completion.

Requirements include a BS in Civil/Geotechnical engineering, 2+ years of consulting experience, EIT with PE licensure within 12–24 months, and a valid driver’s license. Signing bonus up to $5,000 is available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil or Geotechnical engineering, or closely related field.
• Minimum 2 years of professional consulting experience; Geotechnical experience preferred.
• EIT certification; PE licensure within 12–24 months.
• Current driver’s license required.
• Experience with geotechnical analytical software preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine geotechnical site observations, construction inspections, and field testing with limited oversight.
• Prepare reports and document project data with regular direction.
• Maintain client communication and build relationships; anticipate and meet client needs.
• Develop solutions, make recommendations, and prepare engineering reports for simple projects for review by senior engineers.
• Lead projects from concept through completion, mentoring and developing others.
