Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Project Engineer to join our northern Minnesota operations. This role manages moderate to highly complex geotechnical, special inspection, and construction materials testing projects by providing the technical expertise required to exceed client expectations.

The position emphasizes client relationship development, leadership of project teams, proposal preparation, and execution of full scopes with engineering reports.

Qualifications

• BS in geotechnical, civil, or related engineering required.
• MS in geotechnical, civil, or related engineering optional.
• Three+ years of geotechnical engineering and construction materials testing project management experience.
• Professional Engineer registration/licensure in MN, or ability to attain within 6–12 months.
• Ability to lift up to 50–75 pounds periodically.
• Experience managing client relationships and leading a team preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain client relationships with project and non-project related meetings.
• Provide leadership of a technical or project related team.
• Prepare proposals for moderate to complex projects.
• Develop and execute full scopes, and prepare reports with geotechnical opinions.
• Manage projects across scope, schedule and budget.
• Perform engineering analysis using company and industry standards.
• Mentor junior engineering staff.
• Adhere to corporate health and safety policies.
