Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering with geotechnical emphasis.
• Professional licensure as a California PE or ability to obtain within 6–12 months.
• Experience with geotechnical investigations for various project types.

Responsibilities

• Manage geotechnical projects in the Truckee/Tahoe and Reno region under Sr. Engineer.
• Develop objectives by reviewing proposals and aligning with client needs and regulatory requirements.
• Define scope by understanding client requirements and preparing cost estimates.
• Establish schedules, coordinate resources, and monitor budgets to ensure timely delivery.
• Supervise field work, including investigations and materials testing, to inform recommendations.
• Maintain quality and compliance with contract requirements and standards.
