RK&K is seeking a Geotechnical Project Engineer to join our South Carolina team. This role offers the chance to work across disciplines, supervise field investigations, and develop geotechnical recommendations for transportation and municipal clients.

Formación

• BS degree in Civil/Geotechnical Engineering
• 5–10 years of Geotechnical Design Experience
• South Carolina Professional Engineer License
• Knowledge of SCDOT GDM and AASHTO LRFD
• Understanding of gINT, BoreDM, LPile, APile, MSEW, Settle, Slide, GRLWEAP
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills
• Working knowledge of Microstation

Responsabilidades

• Aid in development of geotechnical proposals and subsurface exploration programs
• Supervision of subsurface exploration programs
• Preparation of Geotechnical Subsurface Data Reports, Bridge Geotechnical Reports, Roadway Geotechnical Reports, and Seismic Analysis Reports
• Develop geotechnical analyses and calculations using approved software
• Review of post-bid construction plans and submittals
• Prepare foundation recommendations for structures
• Innovative design concepts to enhance project efficiency
