Job summary

RK&K is looking for a Geotechnical Project Engineer to join their Virginia team. This role involves supporting various transportation and environmental projects, including rail bridges and soils treatment, and it seeks candidates with robust VDOT and municipal experience.

You will prepare plans, supervise investigations, and provide recommendations while collaborating across disciplines, all within a company known for its innovative culture and commitment to client service.

Qualifications

• 5 to 10 years of Geotechnical Design Experience (VDOT experience preferred).
• Knowledge of VDOT Geotechnical and Pavement MOI’s and AASHTO LRFD Bridge Design Specification.
• MS or advanced degree in Civil/Geotechnical Engineering is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist geotechnical/pavement design and engineering group throughout Virginia.
• Serve as Project Engineer on a variety of geotechnical related projects.
• Develop and oversee subsurface exploration programs.
