Job summary

Keller is seeking an experienced Assistant Project Manager for our Dallas, TX location. You will support business development, prepare proposals, and manage risk and planning for geotechnical projects.

The role involves coordinating with the management team to win opportunities and deliver profitable projects. Ideal candidates have a BA/BS in Civil Engineering or Construction Management, 5+ years in geotechnical or construction roles, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering or Construction Management preferred.
Minimum 5 years geotechnical, construction or industry related experience preferred.
Excellent computer, written and verbal communication skills necessary.
Experience in piling, shoring and grouting operations preferred.

Responsibilities

Business Development and Proposal Preparations. Identifies opportunities and coordinates with management for strategy; assembles proposals with risk assessment and client Q&A.
Risk Management. Understands Keller risk policies and mitigates major risks.
Initial Planning. Oversees designs, submittals, material ordering, pre-job planning and scheduling.
Project Execution. Ensures work meets requirements, stays on schedule and within budget.
Change Management. Tracks and escalates changes as needed.
Financial Management. Oversees budgets, forecasts, and A/R collections.
Safety and Quality Assurance. Ensures OSHA safety compliance and quality control.
