ESP Associates, Inc. is seeking a Geotechnical & Materials Testing Staff Professional / Engineer for its Concord, North Carolina operations.

The role includes a broad range of responsibilities from proposal work and field testing to engineering analysis and reporting, with mentorship to field staff. The candidate should have a degree in a related discipline and 0–5 years of experience; EIT is preferred and candidates must pass background checks and a drug screen.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related discipline.
• EIT is preferred.
• 0-5 years of experience.
• Candidate must pass a drug screen, background check and have a satisfactory driving record per MVR policy.

Responsibilities

• Involved in all phases of a project including proposal preparation, leading and/or performing field engineering and testing, engineering analysis, report writing, and client contact.
• Technical analysis and reporting.
• Review of deliverables for technical accuracy and compliance with policies and standards.
• Providing oversight and mentorship to field staff.
• Review project plans, specs and construction to verify compliance with documents.
• Develop scope, prepare proposals and cost estimates, track progress and budgets, and recommend changes.
• Providing consultation/evaluation for field related concerns.
• Performing engineering field evaluations and inspections.
