A leading engineering consulting firm in North Carolina, Charlotte, seeks an experienced candidate to manage geotechnical and construction materials testing projects. Responsibilities include supervising field work, preparing proposals, and mentoring staff. Required qualifications include a Bachelor or Master of Science in Civil Engineering or related fields, with a preference for EIT/P.E. status and at least 2 years of relevant experience. A valid driver’s license is necessary for driving on behalf of the firm.
Qualifications
2 years of related experience required.
EIT, GIT, P.E., P.G. preferred.
Valid driver’s license is required when driving for the company.
Responsibilities
Prepare drilling packages and obtain utility clearances.
Supervise field work and mentoring of staff.
Manage construction materials testing projects.
Prepare geotechnical and CMT proposals and budgets.
Attend project meetings and provide technical solutions.
