Job summary

Geo-Technology Associates, Inc. (GTA) is seeking a Laboratory Technician in Alliance, OH to support the Construction Observation & Testing Division. You will perform data entry, test reporting, and lab work for soil, asphalt, and concrete materials, while applying ASTM and AASHTO procedures.

Responsibilities include testing in the lab, preparing concrete cylinders and prisms, maintaining equipment, and assisting with data corrections under supervision. Competitive pay and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to perform data entry, record keeping and test reporting.
• Learn and apply ASTM, AASHTO and other lab test procedures.
• Proficiency with soil, asphalt and concrete test processing.

Responsibilities

• Perform data entry, record keeping, test reporting and other duties.
• Learn and apply ASTM, AASHTO and other laboratory procedures.
• Conduct soil, asphalt and concrete tests in the lab and field-related prep.
• Operate and calibrate lab equipment and perform calculations under supervision.
• Assist with data back-checking and corrections.
