Geo-Technology Associates, Inc. (GTA) in Alliance, OH is seeking a Geotechnical Field Professional to join the Construction Observation and Testing team.

You will observe and document construction activities to ensure compliance with technical specifications and assist in preparing geotechnical reports. This role requires a Civil Engineering background, a valid driver's license, and enjoyment of outdoor work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field required or preferred for EIT
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required
• Enjoy working outdoors and in field environments
• Civil Engineering degree held
• Possess one or more current certifications listed below

Responsibilities

• Observe and document construction activities to ensure compliance with technical specifications
• Prepare daily field reports and test summaries
• Assist in preparation of geotechnical reports
• Perform routine calculations under training (settlement, bearing capacity, slope, etc.)
• Provide a range of observation and testing services for geotechnical and environmental projects

Education

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
