Partner Engineering and Science, Inc. is seeking a Geotechnical Engineering Technician in Plano, TX to support our geotechnical practice. Responsibilities include field sampling, laboratory testing, and preparation of site reports.

The ideal candidate has 1+ years of field inspection experience, a geology or engineering background is a big plus, and a valid driver's license. This full-time role offers the chance to work on diverse projects with a national environmental and engineering firm.

Qualifications

• 1+ years’ experience with field inspection, and material testing for soils and concrete.
• Geology or Engineering degree is a big plus.
• Driver’s license in good standing, properly insured, capable of driving.

Responsibilities

• Perform field and laboratory sampling and testing.
• Observe earthwork and concrete construction.
• Drive to project sites and transport equipment and samples.
• Operate nuclear density gauge and other field equipment.
• Prepare field inspection reports.
