AIMRIGHT Testing & Engineering seeks a Geotechnical Field Technician to support field explorations, log borings, record test data, and prepare daily field reports for engineers and project teams. The position is travel-based with a 21/7 rotation, requiring outdoor work at active construction and drilling sites, dependable performance, and opportunities to pursue certifications and advancement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in geology or related field required.
• Ability to interpret technical information and document field data accurately.
• Willingness to travel extensively for field assignments.

Responsibilities

• Accompany drill crews to log soil borings and record depths.
• Monitor field explorations and test data for accuracy.
• Prepare daily field reports for engineers and project teams.
• Collect, label, and transport soil, groundwater, and other samples.
• Perform field tests such as in-place soil density and concrete sampling.
• Calibrate and operate field equipment, maintaining safety standards.
• Coordinate with drillers and site personnel; communicate observations clearly.
• Support laboratory testing and other duties as needed.
