Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil/geotechnical engineering from an ABET-accredited college.
• Experience with geotechnical site investigations and laboratory test selection.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Participate in geotechnical site investigations, assignment and assessment of geotechnical laboratory tests, preparation of investigation reports, and application of site data to analyses and design.
• Interpret and analyze geotechnical data to establish material characteristics and perform analyses (seepage, slope stability, bearing capacity, rotational stiffness, liquefaction, settlement).
• Keep management advised of work status, workload, problems and progress as related to work assignments.
• Assist in preparation of proposals, bid documents, construction drawings and design reports.
