Job summary

Exponent seeks a Managing Geotechnical Engineer (Ph.D. or M.S.) for its Civil & Structural Engineering Practice in Bellevue, WA. The role offers a challenging path with growth opportunities and leadership responsibilities in geotechnical projects.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Civil Engineering specializing in Geotechnical Engineering with at least 5 years post-grad experience.
• Alternatively, M.S. in Civil Engineering Geotechnical with at least 10 years post-grad experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct analyses of geotechnical and civil engineering systems.
• Evaluate construction claims related to ground conditions, earthwork, and earth structures.
• Prepare conceptual designs for repair/restoration of geotechnical systems.
• Perform peer reviews.
• Lead project teams on execution of project deliverables.
• Develop project work with new and existing clients.
