Exponent Inc. is seeking a Managing Geotechnical Engineer to join our Civil & Structural Engineering Practice. This role entails conducting analyses, evaluating construction claims, and leading project teams in Irvine, CA or Los Angeles, CA. Ideal candidates will have a Ph.D. or M.S. degree in Civil Engineering with significant experience, strong analytical skills, and a track record of client relationship management.

Compensation includes a base salary range from $145,000 to $176,000, plus an annual bonus and 401(k) contributions.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Civil Engineering specializing in Geotechnical Engineering from an accredited university with 5+ years’ experience.
• M.S. in Civil Engineering specializing in Geotechnical Engineering from an accredited university plus 10 years’ experience.
• Licensed professional civil engineer with ability to become licensed in multiple states.

Responsabilités

• Conduct analyses of geotechnical and civil engineering systems.
• Evaluate construction claims related to ground conditions.
• Prepare conceptual designs for the repair of geotechnical systems.
• Perform peer reviews and lead project teams.
