Dynamic Engineering invites applications for a Geotechnical Intern to support field, laboratory, and engineering tasks across our regions. Responsibilities include on-site testing, soil and concrete testing, and preparing inspection data reports.

The ideal candidate is pursuing a Bachelor's in Civil Engineering, has 0-2 years in geotechnical contexts, and holds or pursues an EIT. Valid driver's license and vehicle for site travel are preferred.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering with relevance to Geotechnical Engineering.
• 0-2 years’ experience in Geotechnical engineering or related site design experience.
• EIT or EIT-track preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle for site travel.

Responsibilities

• Conduct construction site testing, inspection and sampling.
• Perform concrete placement tests and related sampling/transport to lab.
• Perform soil compaction testing and fill placement monitoring.
• Conduct laboratory soils testing and permeability/density work.
• Witness and document borings/test pits as part of site investigations.
• Prepare inspection and data reports; manage sample transport as needed.
• Deliver samples and equipment between sites, office and lab.
