Job summary

Dynamic Engineering Consultants, PC is seeking an Engineering Technician to perform construction-phase testing and inspections on active projects. You will document field activities, produce Site Inspection Reports, and provide timely summaries to your supervisor.

The role prefers a Bachelor’s Degree in engineering or construction-related field and 0–4 years of field or laboratory testing experience, with a valid driver’s license and proficiency in metric and English tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in engineering or construction related field preferred.
• 0-4 years’ experience in construction inspection field or laboratory testing.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to operate personal/company vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site visits, testing and inspection services at construction job sites.
• Conduct laboratory testing on soil samples (physical index, permeability, moisture-density).
• Assist geotechnical engineers with soil borings, test pits, and field permeability tests.
• Prepare site inspection reports (SIRs) and daily summaries for supervisor.
• Review project documents and reference plans and geotechnical reports.
• Ensure adherence to safety policies and proper instrument calibration.
