Job summary

ASR International Corporation in the Puget Sound – Bremerton Area, WA, is seeking a Geotechnical Engineer to provide design technical support for NAVFAC Northwest, focusing on foundations, retaining structures, and waterfront facilities.

The role involves office and field design review, coordination with structural and civil engineers, and preparation of technical reports and recommendations. Qualified candidates have a Civil/Geotechnical degree, six years of experience, and US citizenship.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering from an accredited program.
• Minimum of six (6) years of relevant design or design management experience.
• U.S. Citizenship required (Green Card holders are not eligible).
• Must be able to pass a T1 security background check.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Office and field consultation/monitoring of foundations, retaining structures and waterfront structures.
• Review geotechnical reports for UFC, IBC, ASCE 7 compliance.
• Provide technical recommendations on foundation systems and soil conditions.
• Coordinate with structural, civil and other discipline engineers.
• Prepare technical reports, observations and recommendations.
• Support project status reporting and documentation.
