Job summary

SpecPro Sustainment and Environmental, LLC is seeking a Geotechnical Engineer to support NAVFAC Northwest in Silverdale, WA. You will provide office and field technical support for Navy design and construction projects across NAVFAC Northwest's area of responsibility.

The role requires at least six years of design management or design experience, strong geotechnical expertise, and knowledge of DoD UFC, IBC, and ASCE 7, with a preference for a U.S. PE.

Qualifications

• Six+ years of design management/engineering experience on applicable projects.
• Geotechnical engineering experience for design and construction.
• Experience with buildings, retaining, utility, and waterfront structures.
• Knowledge of DoD UFC, IBC, and ASCE 7 standards.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide office and field consultation and monitoring for design and construction projects.
• Support projects involving buildings, retaining structures, utility structures, and waterfront facilities.
• Review technical reports, designs, RFIs, submittals, and other engineering deliverables.
• Research applicable codes, criteria, policies, and technical requirements and provide engineering recommendations.
• Support construction field activities and technical reviews.
• Coordinate with NAVFAC personnel, project stakeholders, and multidisciplinary design teams.
