Job summary

SpecPro Sustainment and Environmental, LLC seeks a Geotechnical Engineer to support NAVFAC Northwest in Silverdale, WA. You will provide office and field technical support for Navy design/construction projects, focusing on buildings, waterfront structures, and related utilities.

The role requires six years of design management and geotechnical experience, DoD UFC/IBC/ASCE7 knowledge, and US citizenship with a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of design management/design experience on engineering projects.
• Geotechnical engineering experience in design and construction.
• Experience supporting building, retaining, utility, and waterfront structures.
• Knowledge of DoD UFC/IBC and ASCE 7.

Responsibilities

• Provide office and field consultation and monitoring for NAVFAC projects.
• Support projects involving buildings, retaining structures, utilities, and waterfront facilities.
• Review technical reports, designs, RFIs, submittals, and other engineering deliverables.
• Research applicable codes, criteria, policies, and technical requirements and provide engineering recommendations.
• Support construction field activities and technical reviews.
• Coordinate with NAVFAC personnel and multidisciplinary design teams.
