Job summary

Endurance Mining is seeking a Geotechnical Engineer for Abra Mine Site in Western Australia. The role supports safe, day-to-day expansion of underground infrastructure with strong rock mechanics focus.

The ideal candidate has 2 years of geotechnical experience, knowledge of WA mining regulations, and familiarity with Deswik, Dips, and Unwedge. FIFO 7/7 ex Perth or DIDO ex Meekatharra offered, with competitive remuneration.

Qualifications

• 2 years’ hands-on experience in geotechnical engineering, ideally underground.
• Knowledge of WA Mining Act, Regulations and WHS Act.
• Familiarity with Deswik, Dips and Unwedge is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Support geotechnical data collection, program planning and ground stability design review
• Ensure geotechnical design requirements are addressed at extraction plan, stope note and development design stages
• Conduct regular underground inspections, checking ground support standards and reporting hazards
• Schedule ground support audits and collect and interpret geotechnical data from mapping, core logging and site inspections
• Monitor QAQC systems and assist with paste strength and cement content recommendations
