Job summary

Michels Corporation (Mi-Tech) is seeking a Geotechnical Engineer I to work with senior engineers and CAD technicians to develop design submittals for deep foundation and ground improvement systems.

Responsibilities include applying geo/structural principles with analytical methods and software, assisting with preliminary bid-time work, and performing QA/QC reviews during production. Strong communication and attention to detail are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering with emphasis in structural or geotechnical engineering.
• Proficiency with MS Excel and Mathcad.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Develop design submittals for deep foundation and ground improvement systems.
• Apply geotechnical and structural engineering principles using analytical methods and software.
• Participate in QA/QC review during production phases and assist with bid-time preliminary engineering.
