Job summary

Mi-Tech, a Michels subsidiary, is seeking a Geotechnical Engineer I to join our Milwaukee-area team. You will collaborate with senior engineers and CAD technicians to develop design submittals for deep foundation and ground improvement systems.

You will apply geotechnical and structural principles, generate calculations, and assist with bid-time and QA/QC activities. A strong attention to detail and clear communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering with an emphasis in geotechnical or structural engineering.
• 0-3 years of related experience or equivalent combination.
• Proficiency with MS Excel and Mathcad.

Responsibilities

• Develop design submittals for deep foundation and ground improvement systems.
• Create drawings and supporting calculations using geotechnical and structural methods.
• Support bid-time engineering and QA/QC activities during production.
