The position will apply engineering skills to projects involving landfills, mines, brownfields redevelopment, and other water and waste containment systems while expanding the team’s technical capacity. The successful candidate will support geotechnical analyses, calculations, technical reporting, and project execution, helping to advance toward

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil or geotechnical engineering (required).
• 5+ years of related experience (required).
• EIT certification or ability to obtain within 2 years (preferred).
• Professional licensure (PE/P.G.) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Civil design, landfill design, and site layout.
• Geotechnical analyses such as slope stability, settlement, bearing capacity, seismic, and seepage.
• Geotechnical and environmental site characterization.
• Development and management of instrumentation monitoring systems.
• Small project/task management and proposal preparation support.
• Preparation of engineering reports, design calculations, drawings, technical specifications, and permit applications.
• Fieldwork associated with design and construction services.
• Potential for task-level or project management responsibilities and staff mentoring.
