Job summary
The Ravin Group in Greenfield, IN is seeking a Geotechnical Engineer to join our growing environmental engineering team. You will conduct inspections, supervise sampling and testing personnel, and act as the company’s primary representative on projects.
A PE or EIT is preferred; a civil/geotechnical degree and 3+ years of related experience are required. You will collaborate with subcontractors and project professionals and have opportunities for advancement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering and/or Geotechnical Engineering with 3+ years of experience.
- PE or EIT registration preferred.
- Ability to pass drug screen, background check, and testing.
- Willingness to travel to project sites.
- Strong writing and communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Perform field investigations and project site monitoring.
- Oversee earthwork, dewatering, pile installation, and excavation support.
- Oversee subsurface investigations and materials testing.
- Prepare letters and reports for regulators and clients.
- Collaborate with subcontractors and project professionals.
