Job summary

GAI Consultants, Inc. seeks a Geotechnical Senior EIT 2 to support projects in Energy, Transportation, and Community Development. You will perform geotechnical engineering, field investigations, and lab testing under the Engineering Manager, with travel across PA, WV, and VA.

The role requires coordinating with project teams, preparing designs, reports, and proposals, and ensuring compliance with project schedules and budgets.

Qualifications

• B.S. or M.S. in Engineering with FE/EIT certification.
• Experience performing geotechnical investigations and designs.
• Ability to plan field investigations and monitor lab testing programs.

Responsibilities

• Perform geotechnical engineering assignments for foundations, slopes, and other structures.
• Prepare designs for slope stability, foundations, and ground improvement techniques.
• Coordinate field investigations, logging, and reporting of soil conditions.
• Prepare proposals, budgets, schedules, calculations, specs, and reports.
• Travel for fieldwork in PA, WV, and VA up to 50%.
