Job summary

GAI Consultants, Inc. is seeking a Geotechnical Senior EIT 2 to support our Geotechnical Engineering Manager. The role involves fieldwork and travel across Pennsylvania, West Virginia, and Virginia, contributing to foundation and slope design, instrumentation, and testing programs.

The candidate will prepare proposals, budgets, schedules, and technical reports while collaborating within a multidisciplinary team. 6+ years experience and FE/EIT certification are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6+ years in geotechnical engineering.
• FE exam passed and EIT or EI certification obtained.
• Ability to travel and perform fieldwork across PA, WV, and VA.

Responsibilities

• Perform geotechnical engineering assignments for foundations, slopes, and structures.
• Prepare designs for slopes, embankments, foundations, and walls.
• Support field investigations, site reconnaissance, and testing programs.
• Prepare proposals, budgets, schedules, calculations, specs, and reports.
• Travel up to 50% for fieldwork in PA, WV, and VA.
