Job summary

The Ravin Group is seeking an Environmental Project Manager in Greenfield, IN to lead and coordinate complex environmental projects spanning water resources, wastewater treatment, stormwater systems, and regulatory compliance initiatives.

You will oversee planning, execution, and permitting processes, driving innovative solutions and multidisciplinary teamwork across hydrological modeling, environmental law, and infrastructure development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Environmental Engineering or related field.
• Experience managing engineering projects in environmental sector (water resources or wastewater).
• Proficiency with SWMM, HEC models (HEC-RAS), GIS (ArcGIS).
• Skilled in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation; CAD standards familiarity.
• Strong knowledge of environmental law including EPA regulations and permitting.
• Experience with hydrological modeling for stormwater and floodplain analysis.
• Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently; strong scheduling skills.
• Geotechnical engineering principles for water infra projects; wastewater treatment familiarity.
• Mechanical knowledge related to wastewater treatment is a plus.
• Excellent communication with clients, regulators, contractors, and team.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, design, and management of environmental projects: water treatment, wastewater systems, stormwater, remediation.
• Coordinate activities through conceptual design, permitting, construction oversight, closeout.
• Use SWMM, GIS, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation, HEC tools for modeling and drafting.
• Manage budgets, schedules, and resources for timely, high-quality results.
• Prepare reports for EPA regulations and local agencies; ensure compliance.
• Oversee data collection: field surveys, geotechnical investigations, hydrological analysis.
• Collaborate with clients and regulators to facilitate permits and approvals.
• Supervise multidisciplinary teams of engineers, scientists, geotechnical staff, construction.
• Research emerging environmental technologies and best practices in wastewater plant operations.
• Ensure safety and regulatory compliance while pursuing innovative solutions.
