Job summary

The Ravin Group in Indianapolis, IN is seeking an entry-level Civil Engineer with 0-6 years of experience to join our growing firm on the north side of town. This in-person role calls for a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering and a readiness to work across permitting, design and construction phases.

Responsibilities include coordinating with clients, contractors and officials; analyzing surveys and long-range plans; managing budgets and schedules; and submitting permits.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Civil Engineering is required.
• FE Certification or plans to obtain within a year is preferred.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD/Civil 3D is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with clients, contractors, and local government officials through all project phases.
• Analyze survey reports, long-range plans, maps and other data to design new projects.
• Consider budget, regulations and environmental hazards during risk-analysis stage.
• Forecast design and construction timelines.
• Complete and submit permit applications ensuring compliance through design and construction.
