Job summary

GAI Consultants, Inc. is seeking a Geotechnical Senior EIT 2 to support projects in Energy, Transportation, and Community Development. This role requires travel and fieldwork across Pennsylvania, West Virginia, and Virginia, reporting to the Geotechnical Engineering Manager.

Minimum 6+ years of experience, a BS or MS in Engineering, and possession of FE with EIT/EI certification are required. The position involves preparing designs, proposals, and coordinating with project teams.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in geotechnical engineering or related field.
• Pass the FE exam and hold EIT/EI certification.
• BS or MS in Engineering from an accredited program.

Responsibilities

• Perform geotechnical investigations for foundations, slopes, and structures.
• Prepare designs for slopes, earthworks, and foundations and monitor sites.
• Interpret specs, assess site conditions, and report findings.
• Develop proposals, budgets, schedules, calculations, and reports.
• Travel to project sites in PA, WV, and VA up to 50%.
