Job summary

THD Design Group seeks a Geotechnical Engineer in Missouri to perform field reconnaissance, soil sampling, and lab testing, and to develop engineering recommendations for residential, commercial, and municipal projects.

You will prepare reports and specifications, collaborate with project managers, and participate in client meetings while ensuring safety and quality standards across assignments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Geotechnical/Civil or related field required.
• EIT/EI preferred; PE eligible a plus.
• Strong problem solving and communication skills required.
• Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.

Responsibilities

• Perform geotechnical field work including site reconnaissance, soil sampling, and observation.
• Conduct laboratory testing and engineering analysis.
• Prepare reports, plans, and specifications based on analyses.
• Support project management with scope, budgets, and schedules.
• Attend client meetings as THD’s representative.
