Cochran, a growing civil engineering firm with seven Missouri offices, seeks a Geotechnical Engineering Technician to support field investigations and materials testing. Hybrid of field and light office work, reporting findings to engineers and project teams across municipal, commercial, and residential projects.

Formación

• Degree in engineering technology, geology, construction management, or related field (preferred).
• 7+ years of geotechnical field services, soil testing, inspection, or construction materials testing experience.
• Knowledge of soil mechanics, compaction testing, and site evaluation methods.
• Proficiency in MS Office for reporting and documentation.

Responsabilidades

• Perform field investigations including soil sampling, logging, and documentation.
• Conduct field and laboratory testing of soils and construction materials following standards.
• Carry out site development, earthwork, foundations, and construction inspections.
• Prepare field reports, test results, and technical documentation for review.
