Infrastructure Consulting & Engineering, LLC (ICE) in Virginia Beach, VA is seeking a Geotechnical Engineer to support heavy civil and transportation projects in the Southeast. The Geotechnical Professional will conduct subsurface investigations, field testing, and design work for foundations, slopes, and seismic considerations.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering with Geotechnical concentration.
Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification required.
Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

Perform field foundation and geotechnical testing, analyze data, and report results under supervision.
Primarily work in Virginia, with projects across the Southeast including NC, GA, VA, LA, MS, FL, AL.
Collaborate with geotechnical group and assist with geotechnical design as needed under supervision.
Maintain organized documentation/archives of design files, drawings, and submittals.
Engage in design-build pursuits across ICE states and provide mentorship as needed.
