Job Details

Responsibilities:

• Perform field investigations including test borings and soil classification pits.
• Conduct and oversee percolation tests in the field.
• Supervise laboratory testing on soil and construction materials.
• Perform engineering analyses for building foundations.
• Develop proposals and final reports, ensuring client commitments are met.
• Manage overall project supervision, including directing field staff.
• Prioritize projects and tasks to meet department and company goals.
• Multitask effectively, maintaining focus on the big picture while managing daily issues.
• Oversee multiple projects simultaneously.
• Participate actively in professional and technical organizations.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years' experience as a Geotechnical Engineer or Associate Engineer.
• Knowledge of construction principles and processes.
• Experience managing field staff with excellent organizational, follow-through, and communication skills.
• High professionalism and strong work ethic.
• Varied geotechnical/civil construction experience of at least 5 years.
• Ability to take ownership, think independently, and solve problems.
• Proficiency in reading blueprints, plans, specifications, contracts, and purchase orders.
• Skilled in planning, scheduling, and production.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
