UES, Inc. is seeking a Driller's Assistant to support geotechnical drilling operations and field testing. The role involves operating, maintaining, and transporting drilling equipment, while ensuring safety and project compliance.

You will assist with crew setup, gather samples, document daily field data, and travel to sites as required. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, safety-minded, and comfortable working outdoors in varied weather, often with extended hours or overnight shifts.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 0–3 years of experience in Civil, Geotechnical, or Environmental Field Services preferred.
• OSHA 40HR training preferred; must be able to pass and maintain OSHA 40HR certification.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record required; CDL preferred or willing to obtain.
• Basic computer proficiency including MS Office and field data collection tools.
• Ability to read, write, and interpret blueprints and technical documents.
• Willingness to travel up to 70% of the time and work flexible hours, including overtime.

Mansioni

• Collect and test soil, concrete, and other materials to project specs.
• Ensure testing equipment functions and calibration cycles are maintained.
• Operate drilling tools and clean equipment and work areas.
• Assemble/disassemble drilling equipment and assist with rig setup.
• Complete daily time and labor reports and submit paperwork on time.
• Maintain company vehicles, schedule maintenance, and ensure safety standards.
• Travel to job sites as required and adhere to safety policies.
