Job summary

Building & Earth Sciences, Inc. is seeking a field laborer to assist a crew chief in geotechnical and environmental subsurface investigations. Responsibilities include handling drill tooling, driving support vehicles, and monitoring safety on job sites.

Typical schedule is full-time, Monday through Friday, with variable start times depending on location. Travel may require overnight stays and per diem; some projects can last several days to weeks and may be 300+ miles away.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift 75–100 lbs.
• Outdoor work in extreme weather conditions.
• Valid US Driver's License required.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Receive, understand and execute verbal directions.
• Assist with navigation to job sites (sometimes remote).
• Assist with routine maintenance, repairs and cleaning of equipment.
• Perform pre-trip inspections on vehicles and document properly.
• Maintain DOT health card.
• Maintain daily drivers log book.
